crazy schedule

I hate Erics new schedule. Really I guess it is not all that new, he has been on this schedule since the start of October when we came back from vacation and this is the schedule he was on when he worked at Morenci, but I HATE IT!!! It is a crazy schedule! He has 7 days off in a row then he works 4 graveyards, off for 3 days then on days for 3 days then off for 1 day then back to 3 graveyards then off for 3 days then days for 4 days then back to 7 days off. It is hard to keep track so there are calendars every where to help. It is sometimes nice when he is off for 7days but it is also hard, it interrupts our schedule. Things don't get done when he is home. It really messes with out family life. I see him more when he is on graveyards then when he is working days. He doesn't get home until around 6:30 or so and by 7:30 he is soooo ready for bed! Maybe I just need my butt kicked and I need to keep our schedule going even when he is home but its sooo hard! GRRRRR! Right now I am listing to 2 kids crying, they both miss their dad and Delaney is freaking out about her teeth and getting braces. I wish he was home. I am thankful that he does still have a job since he is in the copper industry but some times this schedule just gets to me.

History

Well as most people know (unless you live under a rock) history was made last night. The 44th president of the US is going to be Obama who just happens to be a black man. It didnt matter which way the election went it was going to be history. I know quite a few people who are very worried about Obama being president, but the way I see it GOD IS IN CONTROL!!! God knew this was going to happen before we were born! IT seems as though as Christians we have forgotten those very imports words. God has always been and will always be in control. We have no idea what the future hold but God does!!
